Features
- Overview:
The DTW1005 is a cordless impact wrench with a 137mm (5-3/8") long anvil with a 19mm (3/4") square drive, powered by an 18V LXT Li-Ion battery. With high power and the long anvil, it is suitable for loosening and tightening bolts and nuts in recessed areas such as the rear wheels of trucks.
Four modes are available for forward rotation, with Modes 1, 2, and 3 featuring an auto-stop system to enhance bolt/nut tightening efficiency, making it suitable for tire removal and installation. - Delivers maximum fastening torque of 1,360N·m (1,000ft·lbs) and nut-busting torque of 1,700 N·m (1,250 ft lbs).
- Mode settings suitable for tire removal and installation.
Four modes are available for forward rotation.
• Mode 1: Stops immediately after seating (30 - 50N·m), which is equivalent to manual tightening of large truck tires.
• Mode 2: Stops approx. 0.3 seconds after seating (50 - 150N·m), which is equivalent to initial tightening of large truck tires.
• Mode 3: Stops approx. 0.5 seconds after seating (300 - 450N·m), which is equivalent to temporary tightening of large truck tires.
• Mode 4: Tightens at the maximum speed.
Two modes are available for reverse rotation.
• Mode 1-3 are on: Rotates slowly after finishing impacts.
• Mode 4: Loosens at the maximum speed. - Twin LED job light illuminates bolts and nuts.
- The full-speed mode function reduces the trigger pull to reach the full speed, reducing hand and finger fatigue from trigger pull.
